What is OpenClaw-CN?

OpenClaw-CN, also known as the OpenClaw Chinese Community version, is the Chinese community edition of OpenClaw. It is maintained by community developers and is not an official release. The purpose of this project is to provide domestic users with a complete Chinese interface and address certain issues related to the network environment in China.

OpenClaw-CN Project Background

OpenClaw was previously called Clawdbot/Moltbot and has over 195,000 Stars on GitHub. It is an open-source personal AI assistant platform that users can deploy on their own devices and then interact with through chat tools such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord, allowing it to help handle everyday tasks like emails, calendars, and files.

The OpenClaw-CN version is a Chinese localization based on the original release. It automatically syncs with upstream updates every hour, so domestic users can get new features in a timely manner while enjoying a fully localized Chinese experience.

Installing and Deploying OpenClaw-CN

Environment Requirements: Node.js ≥ 22

Version Numbering

The version format is vYYYY.M.D-cn.N, for example v2026.1.24-cn.3. This allows users to see at a glance which upstream version it is based on and which Chinese update iteration it represents.
