"Yinqi" refers to one of the oracle bone scripts unearthed at the Yinxu ruins in Anyang, while "Wenyuan" comes from the ancient Chinese phrase describing a repository housing extensive collections of classical texts. Yinqi Wenyuan has collected a large amount of oracle bone script works, character shapes, literature, and other information, providing search and display functions for oracle bone script catalogs, literature, and character shape databases, as well as open datasets for oracle bone script information processing.

"Yinqi Wenyuan" is not only a free oracle bone script data platform but is also considered one of the most comprehensive and authoritative oracle bone script data platforms in the world, providing important data support and research convenience for oracle bone script research and opening up a new chapter in oracle bone studies.

Digital Oracle Co-Creation Plan

Safeguarding the血脉 of Chinese civilization and revitalizing the origin of Chinese characters. The China Academy of Social Sciences Pre-Qin History Society, the Key Laboratory of Oracle Bone Script Information Processing of the Ministry of Education at Anyang Normal University, the Tencent SSV Digital Culture Laboratory, and the China Internet Development Foundation jointly created and launched the "Digital Oracle Co-Creation Plan."

Relying on the "Yinqi Wenyuan" AI collaborative research platform, the "Amazing Oracle Bone Script" revitalization platform, and the Tanyuan Digital Culture Open Platform to support the digital protection research, revitalization and utilization, and open sharing of oracle bone script. Jointly building a Digital Oracle Co-Creation Center, inviting oracle bone script-related collections, research institutions, cultural institutions, educational institutions, and social forces to co-build, share, co-create, and benefit together, with main tasks including:

(I) Digital Protection: Oracle Bone Script Collection Modeling and Open Sharing

Co-create with collection units to perform high-fidelity data collection on preserved oracle bone artifacts, forming micro-trace enhanced full-information data models, and opening them up for sharing on research and revitalization platforms.

(II) Digital Research: Digital Cataloging to Boost Expert-Platform Human-Machine Collaboration

Co-create thematic digital catalogs with collection units to help researchers in history, archaeology, paleography, and cultural relic museums conduct research on character interpretation, character shape deduction, script style composition, divination inscription grouping, periodization and dating, oracle bone materials, fragment rejoining, carving techniques, micro-trace analysis, cinnabar and ink application, divination forms, textual example interpretation, grammar and syntax, remnant inscription complementation, inscription content, Yin-Shang history, and more.

(III) Digital Revitalization: Digital Exhibitions and Research-Based Popularization

Providing high-definition oracle bone displays for cultural relic museum exhibitions, co-creating online content display and interpretation of oracle bone artifacts and exhibitions based on the "Amazing Oracle Bone Script" mini-program. Integrating online and offline experiences, generating QR codes for artifacts or characters so people can "take the oracle bones home." Installing oracle bone script digital poster content on vertical touch-screen devices to help the public understand oracle bone script and Chinese characters through fun, interactive on-site experiences.

Relying on "Amazing Oracle Bone Script," sharing oracle bone script research-based interactive digital tools and content to support cultural relic museum social education and school-based oracle bone script特色 teaching; providing support for community activities through knowledge challenges, oracle bone script exercises, etc.; co-creating more research-based learning content.
