MaoerFM - M Station Reviews:
Love Maoer:
"MaoerFM is truly a conscientious platform within the community. The production is amazing, the quality is excellent, and all the novels I like have audio dramas that are super immersive. It's the most conscientious audiobook platform I've ever used, completely the moonlight in my heart. Reading something several times is no match for listening to the drama once — it's awesome. I couldn't stop my lips from curving up while listening. Some people complain the price is a bit expensive, but I think it's fine — cheaper than books. I used to buy the entire book series at the bookstore, and they were abridged editions, with hardly any sweet moments left after printing, which really wasn't worth it. But on Maoer, the sweet moments are basically never cut, staying true to the original, and there are even side stories. The production really lives up to the price, and besides, it's already very affordable. Whether I'm bored writing homework or going out, I can listen anytime, and it's very easy to get absorbed. The cool yet soft-spoken Yu-ge, the flirty pretending-to-be-dumb Chao-ge, the cute and resilient Tu Feifei, the cold and split-personality Jiang Chengcheng, the clueless Yu Yang, the flashy and dominant Qi Zui... Those outside this circle won't understand our passion. Watching them share sweet moments is one of the happiest things in the world. People who don't love this circle are not qualified to say our values are wrong — everyone has a moonlight in their heart."
One Year of Using M Station — My Feelings:
"I want to write this review seriously. The first audio drama I listened to on Maoer was Mo Dao. At that time, the third season was still being serialized. When I first started, I was amazed at how a mere audio drama could give me such strong visual imagery. The skill of the voice actors, the post-production, and the scriptwriting were truly excellent. After the third season finished, I wasn't that into anything else yet — I hadn't entered the danmei (Boys' Love) circle at that time. Then I happened to see an online novel about e-sports, and I loved that kind of e-sports fiction like AWM. I discovered Maoer actually had it too, which should have been after the first season finished. From then on, I started frantically reading all the novels and then listening to the dramas. I haven't watched TV dramas for a long time, because the production level of Maoer is really excellent. I can't say every single one, but almost all of them are made with care. Some parts might be a bit lacking, but they've been remade and improved. I love this platform. Maoer almost perfectly adapts the works written by the authors. The professionalism of the voice actors makes the characters even more appealing, the post-production team's techniques are superb, and the illustrators who draw the posters are amazing too. Whether it's a commercial or free production, they are all very dedicated. The 2019 Voice Actor Festival moved me to tears — it was so touching. I hope there can be one every year, I must attend every year!!! Go Maoer, keep getting better and better!"
