Videezy is a website that offers high-definition and even 4K resolution video footage downloads. It was founded in 2006 by Shawn, a graphic designer from the United States, who at the time found it very difficult to find quality design resources online, so he created the Videezy resource website himself. In 2010, the team began operations, and as it has developed to this day, the site mainly focuses on sharing free high-definition video footage. Loved by many video bloggers, it has become one of the world's largest video resource websites.

Although Videezy allows free downloads of resources, there are quite a few advertisements on the site for paid resources from other platforms, so users need to carefully distinguish them.

Free Resource License

In addition, not all resources on Videezy are free for commercial use. Some resources require purchasing a PRO membership to use, and each resource includes detailed licensing information. Currently, free video resources for commercial use only require attribution—for example, using small text in the video to indicate "Video source: Videezy"—which makes them highly usable.
