Souman: A Search Engine for the Latest Manga Resources
Souman: A Search Engine for the Latest Manga ResourcesIntroduction
What Is Souman
Souman (搜漫) is a tool dedicated to searching for comics. It doesn't store comics itself; instead, it aggregates resources from major comic platforms across the web to help you quickly find what you want to read. Simply put, it's a "search engine" for comics.
What Can Souman Do
One-stop search across the web: No need to open sites like Bilibili Comics, Tencent Comics, or DMZJ one by one — search here once and see results from all platforms
Multiple search methods: Search by comic name, author name, or genre — action, romance, sci-fi, and more — search however you like
Smart recommendations: Suggests similar comics based on what you've searched for and viewed
Price comparison & source finding: Lists multiple sources for the same comic, clearly marking which is free and which has updated to which episode, so you can pick the best deal
Comprehensive categories: Action, romance, sci-fi, mystery, historical, wuxia, horror… basically every genre you want is here

Common Questions
Q: Does Souman cost money?
A: Souman itself is free, but some platforms you click through to may require payment
Q: Do I need to register to use Souman?
A: The web version can be used directly without signing in; the App's bookshelf sync feature may require login
Q: Why can't I find some comics?
A: Souman can only search comics that have been included in its partnered platforms; very niche or brand-new comics may not be available yet
Q: Is the data real-time?
A: It is regularly crawled and updated, but it's not completely real-time; occasional delays are normal
Q: Is it safe to be redirected to other sites when I click through?
A: Souman only provides directions; the actual pages are third-party sites. Be careful not to click on odd ads
Q: Can iPhone users use it?
A: Currently it's mainly the web version and Android App. iPhone users are advised to use the web version directly
Q: Are there ads?
A: It's a free tool, so some ads are normal, but the overall interface is fairly clean
Q: Can I download comics?
A: The App supports offline caching, but please don't redistribute them and respect copyright
Q: Why do some sources show "paid"?
A: For example, some comics on Bilibili require a premium membership. Souman will mark these so you can switch to a free source
A Few Tips
Compare several sources for the same comic — sometimes the image quality and loading speed differ significantly
Support official platforms first; free resources are tempting, but don't rely on them too much
Remember to update the App — newer versions offer better search and features
