FAQ about LangChat-Slides
Do I have to bring my own OpenAI Key?
The open source version requires your own Key; the commercial version comes with built-in quota, or you can connect your company's own large model interface.
Can LangChat-Slides work offline or on an intranet?
Yes. The project frontend and backend can both be packaged as containers; just point the model interface to an internal address.
Can the generated content be used commercially?
The platform is just an tool; the content copyright belongs to the user. If the templates include third-party icons or illustrations, you must comply with their licenses (mostly MIT or CC0).
How well does it support Chinese and complex tables?
Chinese understanding and paragraph segmentation are already well handled; for tables and formulas, it's currently recommended to add them manually using the "Append Mode," then let AI unify the color scheme and layout.
What if the page keeps loading?
First, make sure your browser uses the Chromium engine (v88 or above); then check the console for CORS errors or WebSocket blocked by a firewall; if using a self-signed HTTPS certificate, you need to mark the site as trusted.
