FreePik is a website from Europe that provides high-quality photos, vector images, illustrations, and PSD file resources. All materials are uploaded by designers and carefully curated before being published. The visual style of the image resources is very trendy and beautiful, and it also includes a large number of eps / psd design file formats that can be used for secondary modification. It is an outstanding resource website well worth bookmarking.

It offers both paid and free usage options. The following sections of this article mainly focus on how to use these resources for free in our projects.

Features of the FreePik Resource Website

• Diverse Content. It provides EPS vector files, high-definition photos, and PSD files, which can be used for almost any creative project.
• Top Quality. Outstanding resources are carefully selected every day, in collaboration with many excellent designers.
• Strong Usability. Resources are richly categorized and comprehensive. Favorites allow you to quickly find similar types of materials.
• Materials can be downloaded directly for free without logging in, and high-definition images offer different size options for download.

Hands-On Experience

Previously, I've introduced many free commercial-use image libraries, most of which offer high-definition photos. FreePik, however, is a resource library that provides source files that can be directly modified. It is a design-rich resource website that you'll fall in love with at first sight, and it's very friendly for designers.

For example, it offers downloadable PSD source files for highly finished posters and special-effect text, which can be used not only for study and research but also directly in commercial projects. Resources of this type are usually either paid or aesthetic designs from over 10 years ago that look outdated. Seeing so many stylish and beautiful design source documents is simply delightful—you'd want to download them all.

Please note that some materials on FreePik are paid, so you need to distinguish them when searching for resources. You can also check the free option in the left sidebar to filter out paid materials.

FreePik's search engine is well-designed and helps users quickly find the resources they need. Since it is a foreign website from Europe, it currently does not support Chinese, and the loading speed is somewhat slow. But for a resource library that allows us to continuously obtain high-quality materials for free, these are not issues.

Free Commercial Use Instructions

Please note that the free photos, EPS, and PSD design files provided on FreePik can all be downloaded for free. They can be used commercially for free when crediting the source. If the source is not credited, a paid license is required, which is FreePik's paid offering.

However, crediting the source is not difficult for someone like me who has always wanted to enjoy these resources for free. If used as illustrations for articles or printed materials, or in design works, we only need to place a small line below or beside the image: "Image source: FreePik". If used on a website or app, add a link to the FreePik website in the footer. More detailed requirements for crediting the source can be found next to the download button on the material download page—feel free to check them out based on your needs.

I have already decided to make FreePik one of my regular image libraries. After all, on websites and apps, you only need to place a link to use all the resources for free without restrictions.
