Patent Search and Analysis is a tool for searching and analyzing patent information. It is an intelligent patent search and analysis system launched by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, which includes patent data from 105 countries and regions and supports multiple search methods.

The Patent Search and Analysis system provides search and analysis functions in multiple language versions, supporting nine languages including Chinese and English, making it convenient for users with different language backgrounds.

Comprehensive Patent Data Coverage: Patent Search and Analysis includes patent data from over 105 countries, regions, and organizations, including citations, patent families, legal status, and other information.

Diverse Search Methods:

• General Search: Suitable for quick lookups, with the system automatically identifying keywords.

• Advanced Search: Provides multiple fields, such as invention title and abstract.

• Command Line Search: Designed for professional users, enabling complex queries through search expressions.

• Specialized search methods including Drug Search, Navigation Search, and Subject Database Search.

Multi-dimensional Browsing and Analysis:

• Provides multiple browsing modes such as graphic, list, and detailed views.

• Analysis functions include multi-dimensional analysis of applicants, inventors, technical fields, etc., supporting advanced analysis and customized report generation.

• Tools such as patent family query, citation analysis, and legal status query help understand patent status and impact.

• Supports multiple language versions, enhancing friendliness for international users.

• Timely data updates: China patent data is updated twice a week, and foreign data is updated weekly, ensuring information timeliness.

Patent Search and Analysis Operation Process

• Access and Login: Users can access the system through the official website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration or the public service network link, and need to register an account before use.

Search Operation:

• After entering the "Patent Search" page, the system displays the "General Search" page by default.

General Search Operation Method for Patent Search and Analysis:

1. After entering the "Patent Search" page, the system displays the "General Search" page by default, as shown in the figure below.

2. In the "General Search" page, there are 7 search fields to choose from: Auto Recognition, Search Element, Application Number, Publication Number, Applicant/Inventor, and Invention Title. For example, select the search field as "Auto Recognition", then input "手机" in the "Search Expression Editing Area", select the data range, and finally click the "Search" button to execute the search operation and display the search results page.

Note: When searching in "Auto Recognition", if multiple keywords are separated by spaces, the system searches according to an "AND" relationship between the multiple keywords. For example: input "三星 IBM", the system automatically searches according to the "三星 AND IBM" relationship.

• Enter the advanced search interface to configure complex search conditions.

• Use command line search for professional-level queries.

Result Analysis and Download:

• After search, results can be added to the analysis library or batch download library.

• Supports data analysis and report generation.

• Download patent documents or search result lists.
