VideoDrafter is an open diffusion model for high-quality video generation. Compared with previous video generation models, VideoDrafter's biggest feature is its ability to generate multiple scenes of video at once while keeping the subject consistent.

VideoCrafter is led by Tencent's AI Lab and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the City University of Hong Kong also participating. It is a brand-new video generation model that provides a creation and editing suite. Built on diffusion models, it can generate photos and videos from text descriptions. Even people with no video editing or animation experience can easily produce professional-quality videos.

VideoDrafter currently includes Text2Video and Image2Video models.
