UI Notes (uinotes.com) was designed and developed by UI designer mx, and has been online and running since the end of 2021. Its goal is to become the most complete and practical UI design inspiration website in China, helping you save time searching for inspiration.

Why UI Notes Was Created

As a UI designer, I spend a lot of time every day looking for UI inspiration. However, when searching for UI inspiration on existing mainstream design websites, you may encounter the following situations.

Sites like Dribbble and Behance are full of concept pieces, with very few practical cases that can actually be used in real projects;

When searching for UI inspiration on Pinterest, the vast majority of results are still concept pieces Pinned from various design websites;

Huaban has a lot of UI inspiration from real projects, but as a comprehensive website, it falls a bit short in terms of granularity and real-time updates;

Material packs like the "100G UI Resource Pack" found in various WeChat public accounts and articles are mostly outdated, and their styles and use cases can hardly meet practical needs;

Foreign UI inspiration websites, such as Mobbin and Pttrns, are almost impossible to find Chinese applications on.

Frequently Asked Questions about UI Notes

1. Why do many screenshots on the site have no tags?

Tagging every screenshot of an App takes a very long time, around 2 to 5 hours. Before this, in order to enrich the site's content as quickly as possible, only some screenshots were tagged. Currently, I am using a new tagging system to re-tag all screenshots. Once the progress catches up with the latest Apps, the new tagging system will be launched and the tags for all screenshots will be updated.

2. Why does UI Notes offer limited-time discounts?

Because the tags for many screenshots are incomplete, before the new tagging system is launched, all users can purchase an annual membership at a discounted price. After the new tagging system is launched, the limited-time discount for the annual membership will end and the price will return to normal.

3. What is the update frequency for Apps?

The number of screenshots varies for each App, with an average of 2 to 4 Apps updated per week. The update plan and update history are detailed in the Yuque document, and you can also subscribe to the Newsletter via email (VPN required) to receive weekly update notifications.

4. What is OCR Image Search?

OCR Image Search allows you to search for text within screenshots, supplementing what keyword search cannot cover. OCR will be refreshed weekly along with the Apps. For content that cannot be found through keywords, try OCR Image Search.

I don't have a shop, nor do I drive for Didi, so I have no way to obtain interfaces from these applications.

4. Apps in other languages

There are already many inspiration websites for Apps in other languages, but very few for Chinese ones. UI Notes wants to focus on collecting Chinese-language Apps.

No. Some inspiration sites allow users to upload content, but the completeness and practicality of such user-uploaded content fall short of the standards I set for myself, so UI Notes will not allow user uploads of Apps.

7. How do I purchase a membership?

The only purchase channel for UI Notes is the "Afdian" platform. To upgrade your membership, you need to purchase a redemption code on "Afdian", then redeem the membership in UI Notes' membership information using the code. UI Notes is not responsible for any issues arising from purchases made through other channels.

8. What payment methods does UI Notes support?
