Cangzhou OS: The World's First Operating System for the Content Domain, Jointly Launched by Baidu Wenku and Baidu Netdisk
What is Cangzhou OS?
Cangzhou OS is the world's first operating system in the content domain, jointly launched by Baidu Wenku and Baidu Netdisk at the Create2025 Baidu AI Developer Conference on April 25, 2025.
Wang Ying, Vice President of Baidu, stated that the industry trend is to meet users' complete needs through capability composition and Agent invocation. Baidu Wenku and Netdisk hope to build a system that integrates three major capabilities—input, processing, and output—into products like Wenku and Netdisk, so that users can receive in-depth deliverables in any scenario, making ai truly usable and scalable, and achieving the goal of being "capable of everything, present everywhere."

Core Features of Cangzhou OS
- Flexible Form: Like water, Cangzhou OS can change its form according to different scenarios, supporting multiple capabilities and interactive interfaces. It is applicable to various application scenarios and provides end-to-end solutions.
- End-to-End Delivery: Unlike traditional operating systems, Cangzhou OS is committed to one-stop in-depth delivery, disrupting the traditional APP ecosystem and redefining the human-machine collaboration model. Users no longer need to switch between different applications and can complete the full chain of operations from content production to consumption on the same platform.
- Multimodal Support: It supports input and output of all modalities, breaking the "data barriers" between different formats. Users can complete editing, annotation, and secondary creation without switching interfaces.
- Built on the MCP Protocol: Through the MCP protocol, a three-layer system is built to open up the capabilities of Wenku and Netdisk to more enterprises and developers, enabling flexible invocation of internal and external models and tools.
Architecture of Cangzhou OS
- Base Infrastructure Layer: It integrates the data storage system and tool framework of Baidu Wenku and Netdisk, including capabilities such as multimodal understanding, search, web reading, and file parsing. It also builds the "Three Major Libraries" (Professional Resource Library, User Database, User Memory Library) and the Baidu Academic platform, providing powerful data support for the system.
- Central System Layer: It builds the GenFlow scheduling hub, which combines user memory and profile data to understand user intent, efficiently allocate Agents, and generate customized workflows.
- Application Service Layer: It integrates hundreds of AI Agents, including intelligent ppt, documents, mind maps, AI notes, etc. It also supports third-party Agents, generating materials in multiple formats, covering scenarios such as learning and office work, as well as life and entertainment.
Applications of Cangzhou OS
- GenFlow Super Buddy: A multimodal content generation tool launched on the Baidu Wenku APP. After users input simple instructions, AI automatically plans tasks, invokes models and tools, and generates copywriting, PPT, images, charts, and other content, with high stability and high-quality delivery capabilities.
- AI Notes: A feature jointly launched by Baidu Netdisk and Baidu Wenku. Users can directly generate AI notes while watching videos, and can also edit and adjust the content, generate AI mind maps, or create AI-generated questions. The notes can be published to Wenku for others to browse.
