What is Taodou?

iQIYI's "Taodou" is a personal intelligent assistant newly launched by iQIYI at the iQIYI World·Conference on April 23, 2025.

Features of Taodou

• Smart Search & Content Recommendations: "Taodou" can accurately recommend content tailored to users based on their entertainment needs and viewing preferences. For example, when you ask "recommend content suitable for me," it will recommend movies and shows that match your tastes based on your viewing history and preferences.

• Customer Service Q&A: Users can consult "Taodou" on various issues such as membership top-ups and program information, and it will quickly provide precise operational suggestions. For instance, users can ask "how to top up a membership for a family member," and "Taodou" will provide detailed step-by-step guidance.

• Premiere Reminders: Users can set the "Premiere Reminder" command, and "Taodou" will schedule the relevant series for the user and promptly remind them to watch when the series officially goes live.

• Engaging Discussions on Film & TV Content: Users can also discuss film and TV-related topics with "Taodou." Leveraging its in-depth understanding of the platform's content, it can interact with users accordingly.

How to Use Taodou

After updating the iQIYI App to version 16.4.2 or above, users can click the bottom bar on the homepage or the "Taodou" icon on the half-screen playback page of a series to start using it.

Previously, iQIYI had already launched intelligent creation systems such as the Xingluo Plot Understanding Platform and the Xingtu Editing Tool.
