Google recently launched an experimental project called "Daily Listen," which leverages AI technology to produce and deliver short, concise audio briefings based on users' interests, offering a personalized podcast experience. Similar to the audio overviews of NotebookLM, it can generate customized podcast content based on users' interests in Google Discover.

Features of Daily Listen:

• AI-Powered: Daily Listen uses AI to analyze users' interests and push relevant content.

• Short and Concise: Each audio summary is designed to last about five minutes, with concise content suitable for staying informed during busy periods.

• Personalized Recommendations: Daily Listen generates content based on users' Google search history and Discover interests. The pushed content is tailored to users' preferences, allowing them to hear news and stories they are interested in.

"Daily Listen" leverages artificial intelligence technology to analyze users' interests and preferences, generating relevant audio content. This personalized podcast format enables users to quickly obtain information on topics of interest, enhancing both the efficiency and enjoyment of information consumption.

Through Google Discover and Search, Daily Listen can generate podcast content of about 5 minutes based on users' interests, providing overviews of related stories and topics. Users can access this feature through the "Space" carousel card in the Google app. After tapping it, a full-screen player opens where users can control playback, adjust speed, and view the text transcript. In addition, users can provide feedback on each segment to help Google improve content recommendations.

Currently, this feature is rolling out gradually on the Google app for Android and iOS, targeting U.S. users who have opted in. Users can find this feature through the "Space" carousel below the search bar at the top of the Google app, and with simple operations, they can enjoy tailored podcast content.
