Now all ChatGPT Plus users can use the memory feature. Using the memory feature is simple: just start a new chat and tell ChatGPT anything you want it to remember.

ChatGPT is now able to retain what it has learned across chats, enabling it to provide more relevant responses. As you interact with ChatGPT, it will become more helpful by remembering details and preferences from your conversations.

You can control ChatGPT's memory. You can reset it, delete specific or all memories, or turn this feature off in settings. If you want to have a conversation without memory, you can use a temporary chat.
