Anime Model Nijijourney V6 Officially Released 195

It's finally here! The anime fine-tuned model of Midjourney V6, Nijijourney V6, is officially launched. It responds better to prompts and recognizes more styles.

Now simply enter /settings to select the Nijijourney V6 version, or use the Niji Discord bot.

Features of Nijijourney V6:

• Enhanced Prompt Understanding: With significantly better response to prompts and the ability to recognize more styles, Nijijourney V6 is committed to understanding and transforming a wide variety of subjects into anime-style visual works, even some topics that aren't commonly found in anime.

• Text Writing Support: Supports simple text writing—simply place the text in quotation marks. Users can now include simple text in the generated images, providing more freedom and expressive power for creation.

• Non-Anime Style Option (RAW Mode): If you want more than just anime style, Nijijourney V6 also offers a "RAW Mode" that can generate images with a more realistic look.

• Explain to Niji: If Nijijourney V6 doesn't understand a certain concept, users can help it understand by providing an explanation. For example, after explaining the concept of "kasa obake" (the Japanese umbrella yokai), Nijijourney V6 is able to produce corresponding images. Nijijourney V6 encourages users to provide more details to help the model understand and execute tasks.

Some improvements compared to V5:

• The 3D style image quality of Nijijourney V6 has seen a substantial improvement compared to V5.

• Nijijourney V6's content moderation policy is stricter than V5's, so you need to be careful when reviewing content generated with V5 prompts.

• The image generation feature on the Midjourney alpha website now supports Niji V6, so if you have access you don't need to use Discord.

• Nijijourney V6 still doesn't seem to support Chinese prompts for now, or at least its response to Chinese prompts is not very accurate.

• Nijijourney V6 does an excellent job of reproducing certain game concept art styles—if you want an image that resembles a particular game style, adding the game name can yield even better results.

• Some of the quirky prompts that worked well in Nijijourney V5 are no longer usable. You'll need to provide more detailed and precise descriptions of the content and style of the image.

Upcoming new features: A series of new features is planned to be introduced in the full release at the end of February, such as vary (adjusting a specific region of an image), pan (moving), and zoom (scaling), further enhancing user experience and creative flexibility.
