Baidu: ERNIE 4.0 API Now Available for Application on Qianfan LLM Platform 166

At today's Baidu World Conference, Li Yanhong, Baidu's founder, chairman, and CEO, announced that starting from October 17, enterprise users can log in to the Baidu Intelligent Cloud official website and apply to test the API of ERNIE Bot 4.0 on the Qianfan large model platform.

He stated that ERNIE Bot 4.0 has achieved a comprehensive upgrade of its foundation model, with notable improvements in understanding, generation, logic, and memory capabilities, delivering a performance that is "in no way inferior to GPT-4."

According to data, the Qianfan large model platform has become the largest and most open large model development platform in China, hosting 42 mainstream large models including ERNIE Bot, covering nearly 500 scenarios across all industries.

"China has rich application scenarios, and Chinese users are naturally willing to embrace new technologies. With advanced foundation large models, we can build a thriving ai ecosystem and jointly create a new round of economic growth," said Li Yanhong.

It is reported that ERNIE Bot 4.0 is the most powerful ERNIE model to date, having achieved a comprehensive upgrade of its foundation model. Compared with GPT-4, ERNIE Bot 4.0 delivers performance in understanding, generation, logic, and memory capabilities that is in no way inferior.

It is also learned that invitation-based testing for ERNIE Bot 4.0 has begun simultaneously.
