Daily healthtech pioneer Baracoda today unveiled BMind, the world's first AI-powered smart mirror for mental wellness, designed to serve as a wellness companion capable of recognizing emotions and helping manage stress. Built on the next generation of CareOS's smart mirror software platform, BMind delivers personalized recommendations and experiences based on the user's mental state, as part of a seamless, contactless experience featuring gesture recognition, voice commands, and intent detection. BMind's technology was recently recognized with a 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovation Award in the Smart Home category.

Managing stress, mitigating anxiety, and reducing insomnia all require an ally to help people maintain a positive mindset and encourage proactive wellness approaches. Unlike phone-based apps, BMind blends seamlessly into anyone's bathroom, allowing users to assess their mental state and select recommended exercises and activities to boost their mood. BMind is built on top of CareOS, an operating system that enables manufacturers to create and power smart mirrors faster than ever and turn any screen into a smart mirror. It also allows third-party providers to connect their apps so they can be displayed within the mirror's interface. Among the 40 providers already CareOS-compatible, BMind is partnered with ThrivePal, an AI-powered coach designed to create tailored plans for personalized self-improvement, as well as Inclusive Brains, a proprietary blend of generative AI and neurophysiology that enables devices to sense and adapt to how people feel in real time.
